So the project I previously “Shhhhhhh” ‘ed about is actually ARTUNG! A rift off a couple other projects I was invovled in targeting illegal and legal advertisements posted by Pattison/CBS Outdoor/Astral Media. Apparently my artwork is in the Gazette today!
Very cool!
Too bad it will only be appreciated for a couple days because I really liked that piece, sad to let it go where it will be inevitably ripped down a a couple days….

Today was exciting because not only did the project get an abundance of media coverage, but I also got to speak at Hastings Elementary today to teach and inspire a project the grade 7 students are working on. I was contacted by a a friend of a friend of a friend…to go and do a presentation about grafitti and street art activism. Apparently, the grade 7 class watched the Banksy movie in school and were inspired to work on a project representing their views and visions of the DTES in an artwork. What a cool teacher Miss Vis is!
